To be beautiful
-I wish I be more beautiful. If anything, I probably look like Georgia May Jagger's ugly sister. I have full lips, a very slight gap in my teeth and skin so fair it could probably burst into flame on a sunny day, despite the fact I lay out in the sun every summer. Not only that, but with the late hours I have been working, I can only eat a little something before having to go to bed, so I am basically starving myself and I am unable to work out because of the long hours

Travel
-I've been dreaming of travelling to London since I was 16. I am 29, so it's a long-running dream. I have the money saved up. It's all down to actually planning it. I just want to have enough vacation time from work to do so. Right now, at work, the only people who can take off are people with enough seniority. I have hardly any. Everyone else can start requesting time off on Jan. 18, after the first major holiday of the year, Martin Luther King Jr. Day. And even then we'll be working. Any major holidays-Christmas and Thanksgiving-are the ONLY days we get off work. All other holidays-Columbus Day, President's Day, Veteran's Day, Memorial Day, etc., we have to work our full 8+ hours. But, aside from that little rant (so sorry about that), I have dreamed of travelling to London and taking my sister with me. She loooooooooves punk rock and what better place for a lover of all things punk to go than London? Where it all started?

Front row tickets for me and my family to see a concert
-I would love to have front row tickets for me and my family to see a concert. The one band that I think would strike a particular emotional cord with my mom is Lynyrd Skynyrd. She has been a fan since she was a child. Her class song when she graduated high school was "Freed Bird". We were lucky enough to be able to take her to see Skynyrd recently. When they played "Free Bird" with late front man Ronnie Van Zant's hat on the microphone, my mom was in tears. I love when me or my sister can do something that special for someone we love. If we were able to get front row tickets to Skynyrd, I bet she would be in tears once more. But, unfortunately, the only downside is that getting front row tickets or anything near that is near impossible. I already had to play Beat the Clock to get tickets to Iron Maiden because the day they went on sale, I had a job interview. I was fighting to get tickets on my phone before the person interviewing me for the job came. And it turned out the two security guards nearby were doing the same thing, judging from them saying things like "Come on, Ticketmaster. Mama wants to see Maiden!"

Meet someone famous
-I've already done this with Def Leppard. Me and my sister had meet-and-greet tickets to Def Leppard when they played here in Cincinnati, OH in May 2018. The photographer had to tell my sister to relax while I was standing next to Rick Savage, the bassist and trying not to blow a microchip. It was only when we were around the corner and out of earshot that we had our little freakouts about being near our favorite member of Def Leppard.
-I would love to meet Iron Maiden. I've seen countless interviews and they all seem like genuinely nice, down to earth guys with a lot of funny stories to tell. If you need evidence of this, watch Flight 666. I laughed at parts of that movie, such as when Adrian Smith is being interviewed in a t-shirt and towel around his waist and bare feet. Or when a crew member is being interviewed and in the background you see Bruce Dickinson in underwear and socks getting his stage clothes off a hanger. Plus, me and my sister both have favorites in the band. I like Dave Murray because I think he is still handsome and has a nice personality. My other favorite is Steve Harris because he's still handsome. My sister's single favorite is Dave Murray. She thinks he is so handsome for his age
-I wouldn't mind meeting Ritchie Blackmore. From this documentary I have seen and own on DVD about him, The Ritchie Blackmore Story, he does not seem arrogant as people have made him out to be. Opinionated? Yes. Demanding? Probably. He's probably demanding on himself, who knows. But he seems like a really sweet, nice, quiet guy who loves his privacy. I mean, imagine it. You're a musician in a really successful band. People are hounding you all the time. Yeah, you're going to want privacy. I read a book about him called Black Knight: Ritchie Blackmore by Jerry Bloom. It's a good book, but the person who wrote it seems to make Ritchie out to be almost like a bully, pulling pranks on people but getting bent out of shape when they turn the tables on him. And if that is how he really is, then okay, fine. I still think he's a cool guy. Although it would do him some good to learn about the values of monogamy, learning to stay with the one you love and not cheat. He seems to have finally learned that with his current music partner Candice Night. Plus, I've been a pretty big Deep Purple fan since high school and it was only after reading Black Knight: Ritchie Blackmore by Jerry Bloom that I discovered the band Rainbow and quickly became a fan of that band as well.

He looks very happy here. I'm happy for him.

Travel the world
-I want to travel to see various places in the world. I want my sister right there with me. We had our fights and troubles when we were younger. What siblings don't fight? But we seem to have grown closer over the years and it seems like we're best friends who do everything together-concerts, tattoos, special events and vacations. I would take my sister on vacation with me. I would love to take her to London with me because she is a massive punk rock fan and what better place for a lover of all things punk to go than London? I also want to take her with me to Australia to sightsee. If I can or if she wants to, either one of us could buy tickets to an AFL (Australian Football League) game, known as Aussie Rules football. She loves this incredibly violent sport known to some as "kill the man with the ball". Any places she wants to go, I'm sure she'll ask me just as I would ask her.

Fall in Love
-I wouldn't mind this. But I feel like my massive lack of self-confidence and self-esteem would push anyone away. Not only that, I have very massive trust issues and trust very few people. I have issues with opening up to people I don't know. I always try and find some common ground that me and the other person has in common, but if me and that person have nothing in common, why bother talking to them?

Go back to school
-I wouldn't mind going back to school if I knew something I was interested in and passionate about. My biological father drove all ideas and passions from my head. He told me and my sister that no matter how hard we worked toward something, it would never happen. Dreams are for suckers. That we would just be better off going the safe route and getting a regular job like everyone else and not bother with college. That we would never find a job in that market anyway. He also told us that if we couldn't do good in school, what good were we in college?

Is heavy metal music bad for your health?

There are some who say that heavy metal is bad for your health.
It's been said that heavy metal, more than any other genre of music, has the worst reputation and effect on its listeners. It's been said that heavy metal has the reputation of affecting the behavior mental of its listeners. Apparently scientists noted a link between listening to heavy metal and a high risk of suicidal thoughts or actions, becoming desensitized to violence and other factors. What these "studies" have forgotten, probably on purpose, is that there are external factors there sometimes as well, such as poor family relationships, drug abuse/substance abuse, feelings of being "the outsider".

According to a study done at Macquarie University in New South Wales, Australia, music with violent themes does not make fans more violent or prone to violence. There is a long standing idea that the music a person chooses to listen to can inform others of their behavior. Aristotle was of the opinion "if over a long time [a person] habitually listens to music that rouses ignoble passions, his whole character will be shaped to an ignoble form". So it can be said that heavy metal is not so bad for your health. If someone is prone to violence, has suicidal thoughts/actions or abuses substances, aggressive music can certainly be ruled out.

Here are some pictures to debunk that!!

Ian Hill, bassist of Judas Priest, wants to do a co-headline tour with "rivals" Iron Maiden!
That's right. You read it right!! According to noted metal music site Loudwire, it's being considered that metal legends Iron Maiden and Judas Priest might do a co-headline tour.

In the early 1980s, Iron Maiden was still in opening band status. They often opened for then big band Judas Priest. Things got off to a rocky start when then Maiden vocalist Paul Di'Anno announced "they would blow the bollocks off Judas Priest". Eventually, both bands came to terms with the issue and now are the best of friends while also being the two biggest names in metal. The whole idea of Priest and Maiden touring TOGETHER would be something out of the best dreams of most metal fans.

During an interview with Audio Ink Radio, Priest bassist Ian Hill had this to say. "There’s always the big question of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. That would be really interesting if we could get that together before some of us die. It’d be great! You run into these people over the years. We’ve played with quite a few of them, but we’ve got to get together with Iron Maiden."

Maiden's first outing with Priest was in 1980. Priest was out touring British Steel while Maiden was out touring as "opening band" for their debut album Iron Maiden. The opening band had, once again, played opening band to Priest again in 1981 as Priest was touring Point of Entry and Maiden touring Killers. The tour was dubbed the World Wide Blitz. To get back to the current day, Judas Priest is still touring their Firepower album while Maiden is embarking on their Legacy of the Beast tour. The Firepower tour is the first Judas Priest tour to not feature guitarist Glenn Tipton, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease a few years prior. To play in Tipton's spot is famed producer and musician Andy Sneap, who is known for working with bands like Dimmu Borgir and Amon Amarth.

During an interview with The Void with Christina, Sneap had this to say. "I'm just filling in, really. They asked me to help out, so it was a case of jumping in and doing what I could do. I'd had a year in the studio with them — I was doing Accept and Saxon at the same time — so it's been good for me to step away from the studio, because mentally, I was getting a little bit burnt with that, if I'm honest. To be able to step back and still do something this size and musical has been great. Where it's going to go? I've got no idea. We haven't even discussed it. It's been, 'Andy, can you do this tour? Can you help us out here?' That's fine."

This is too hilarious!!

Elderly couple sued for playing Iron Maiden too loud!!
In a quiet retirement community in Stockholm, Sweden, things turned out to be not so quiet. An elderly couple decided to destroy the silence by blasting legendary metallers Iron Maiden.

According to a local newspaper, Aftonbladet, the couple played the legendary English metallers' music to get payback on a new couple who moved in nearby. Some neighbors say the issue started in October when the new neighbors had a loud, rowdy sex life that would go all night. The unnamed elderly couple, an 81 and 71 year old, decided to take the law into their own hands. They decided to drown out the new neighbors by cranking up the stereo to 11 and blasting Iron Maiden.

Ironically, the police were called and had to force in the door while "Afraid to Shoot Strangers", the Gulf War epic written by bassist Steve Harris from the band's 1992 Fear of the Dark album was playing. Thankfully, despite the song's title, no shots were fired. There was a charge of harassment issued to the couple by police, but was later dropped.

I'm going to be honest about this!
https://never3nding.tumblr.com/post/2660644142/tumblr-30-day-challenge

What I would do differently if I was a parent would be to encourage my childto follow their dreams. I would teach them that dreams have no limits. That dreams are not for suckers. That if you do work hard enough and put enough dedication into it, it can happen.

I would be supportive of whatever decision my child made. I would make my child feel comfortable enough to come to me or the other parent about anything. Such as if the child identified as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. I would want that child to come to me or the father and feel comfortable opening up about it and know that regardless of what happens, they will be loved and adored.

I would not tell my child that they would need to work hard to achieve their dreams, that the road to success will be a hard one, but if they are willing to push past the moments where they question themselves about doing this, they can go all the way! I would support my child no matter what they said they wanted to do. If they said they wanted to pursue music as a career, I would tell them it's going to be a hard road, getting all that practice in. But if they are willing to push past that, do the practice and keep at it, they will get to where they need

Case in point, I would positively encourage my child to have limitless dreams. Anything they want to do can be achieved with hard work and dedication. And no giving up!

This will be interesting...
https://never3nding.tumblr.com/post/2660644142/tumblr-30-day-challenge
For just one day, I would like to be Georgia May Jagger. I think, as a girl, she's a beautiful model with a great personality to match. She doesn't care that people think the gap in her teeth is big enough to drive a truck through. She doesn't care. She is a model who is famous in her own right instead of what her last name is. I wish I had her beauty and confidence and self esteem instead of being a fair skinned, easy-to-burn girl with bad teeth, 0% self esteem and confidence and losing weight only because my job prevents me from eating.

9 Annoying Things Friends Say When Returning from Travelling

$
0
0
We all have friends who brag about all the amazing things they did on their time away. Or they brag about how they met all sorts of interesting people, the amount of booze they drank or whatnot. Here are 9 annoying things friends may say when returning.
1.) You haven't had coffee until you've drank it here!
-It's pretty much a known fact that each country brews coffee differently. It may not have been grown in the volcanic soils of Hawaii or passed through the digestive system of an Indonesian cat, but coffee is coffee none the less

2.) "That place was way too touristy for me"
-For starters, you want to say to them "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WERE?!?!?!" Every country has those locations considered too "touristy" but people still go to see them. It's amazing the things that come out of people's mouths

3.) I had the craziest night at the Full Moon Party
-For one thing, a lot of countries have parties to celebrate things that are important to them. For example, in springtime in Japan, when the cherry blossoms bloom and fall, parties are held to view them because it is considered a beautiful occasion. (I would go and see them like the locals) No one really cares about the drunken nightclub war stories you have.

4.) You have to see [insert famous landmark] when the sun is coming up.
-This is so typical it's pathetic. Not everyone wants to go to the same places for the same reasons as you. Everyone has those places in the world they want to see for reasons personal to them. So if you keep irritating people about seeing this place when the sun is coming up, you're going to find something being shoved where the sun doesn't shine!

5.) Travelling really changes your personality
-Travelling is different for everyone. Some consider backpacking through Europe to see the historical sights an eye opening experience, especially if you've never been out of the country before. Some consider drinking the bar dry in Riviera Maya, Mexico a legend to behold. It's not like travelling changes everyone. If it's your first time, last time or just a vacation somewhere, it can certainly open your eyes and make an impact

6.) It was time to unplug
-Yes, we all know we're just dying to post those pics on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other mindless drivel called social media. Funny, for someone who said they wanted to "unplug", those social media sites are seeing some high density from you...

7.) "That reminds me of this one time in Argentina..."
-When someone asks you if you've ever been to a place, it's okay to say yes and tell them about it. It's a completely new thing to shoehorn your travel experiences into a conversation that has nothing to do with it.

8.) You should be able to fit everything you own into a backpack
-First things first, consider where you are going. Some places are subject to radical changes in climate. You need to be prepared. A carry on and a suitcase should be sufficient. For example, if you plan on climbing Mt. Fuji in Japan during the spring and summer, you need to bring proper winter gear for climbing the mountain, such as winter clothes, winter coat, hat, gloves, VERY GOOD hiking shoes and proper summer and spring weather gear for when you come down. It's all down to knowing how the weather and climate is in the destination you're embarking to

9.) I'm glad I went when I did
-Here's a translation for this: "I had the best trip ever and you will never come close to that". Everyone has those one or two special destinations they want to see. They've been planning, saving and doing what they needed to prep themselves for that special day when they can embark. It does not reflect well on you when you basically brag about them not having as good a trip as you. Everyone travels to different places for different reasons. For some it's culture. For some it's religion. For some it's to see the sights. Do not take away the specialness of their dream destination(s) just because it doesn't compare to what you did. Not everyone aims to get completely London Blitzed on alcohol the whole time they are on vacation. Do not put someone down for wanting to go to a certain place in the world simply because you don't want to go there.

Benefits of Travelling

$

0
Besides seeing new destinations, studies show that travelling can good for your health!! YAY!! Now where's that suitcase?...…..
1.) It teaches you about the world
-Saint Augustine once said "The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page". Any university course can teach you about countries, but you can learn so much more about the traditions, culture of the country you visit. You can interact with the locals, who will, most likely, be more than happy to teach you about their ways of life

2.) You can learn about your homeland
-You can not only learn about a new culture, but you can also learn about your own homeland. You will notice unique cultural differences

3.) You can learn a lot about yourself
-It's been said that those who want to travel abroad want to "find themselves". You are given the chance to reflect on what it's like to be far from your home, what you feel about your homeland, how you feel about foreign people or what you do/don't know about the various places in the world.

4.) Tolerance is key!
-Everyone says that they are tolerant of everyone. But is that really true? You can often meet others who are different from you and that will teach you to be more accepting of people different from you and also more open

5.) Times you'll never forget
-Everyone looks forward to creating memories they'll never forget when travelling. You tend to change slightly by doing activities you never thought you'd do. You'll see beautiful landscapes and areas you never would have seen at home. You'll talk to people you never thought you'd ever meet

6.) Confidence and independence can be yours
-Travelling makes you feel more confident and independent. You realize that any situation can be mastered. You find out that you can survive without help from others. You realize you are stronger than you thought

7.) Knowledge is key!
-You can learn a lot through travelling. You can learn all sorts of things, such as a new recipe, find something pop culture-related you may never have known about, a new way of solving problems, a new mindset or more

8.) The language of travel
-Every country has its own language and dialects for different areas. Travelling can improve your language skills. If you go to a country where they speak the same language as you, you can learn some new local words and phrases only used there. If you go to a country that speaks a different language, you will learn even more about that language, especially if the local culture is what interests you and propelled you to go to that country in the first place

9.) Motivation!
-People will often say that when they return home from a long journey, their motivation is higher. You might learn things you want to try at home. These experiences will give you a new energy, a new sense of purpose

10.) Bragging rights
-Everyone loves to tell a good story about the places they've seen, the things they've done. With all this travelling, you can have a few good stories for the kids and grandkids. You can look back on life in your older years and realize that you have lived a full life, that your life was not in vain. You can be satisfied you have done so much. This will give you unlimited satisfaction and happiness

Here we go!
https://never3nding.tumblr.com/post/2660644142/tumblr-30-day-challenge

Take my family to Tahiti
-My mom and stepdad are in love with Tahiti. They have been there numerous times and they want to go back, but like most travelling experiences, Tahiti is expensive. You have to pay for most if not all your meals, drinks and other stuff unless you luck out with an all inclusive, which is rare in French Polynesia.
Travel
-I'd love to travel. London would be one place I'd go to because a good majority of the bands I listen to come from London, mostly Iron Maiden, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Clash, The Police, As Lions, Billy Idol. And the bands I listen to that don't come from London have gone to this city to record. Plus, I'd love to see an authentic soccer (football) game. Doesn't matter the team. If they are English, I'd love to see them play. I'd love to go to Australia because it's beautiful. Not now, with those raging wildfires. I'd love to visit Japan because I've been deeply interested in the culture since I was 13.

Donate to charity
-I'd donate to the ASPCA, because I love animals. I'd donate to Wounded Warriors because I deeply support the military. I'd donate to Alzheimer's Association because Alzheimer's Disease  runs in my stepdad's family and it's what killed his aunt Rita. I'd donate to the Breast Cancer Foundation because I can't even begin to imagine the horror of getting the diagnosis of breast cancer. The horror of losing your hair or even having to have a mastectomy done.

Find a passion and go back to school
-If I could, I'd love to go to college or university for something. The only problem is that I have no passion for anything anymore. I used to have a passion for medicine, but my biological father drove that out of me by saying I was a failure in school, what makes anyone think I would be any better in medicine? No one would trust someone who can't pass a class in school. My mom and stepdad say that if I am destined to do something or have the talent for it, then I should pursue it. You can't go to school just for something you're interested in. You have to be destined to do that, have a talent for it and a strong passion for it.

Slight cosmetic surgery
-Nothing too major. Just mostly some sort of weight loss procedure, like that Coolsculpting that keeps getting advertised on TV. I would never modify my body in major ways, like breast augmentation or enlargement, lip fillers or any of that. The only reason I would want a weight loss thing like Coolsculpting is to help me lose a few pounds. I'm not fat, but I'm not skinny either. I'm curvy, but I do have problem areas with my midsection. But then again, what woman doesn't?

JC
-Jessica Clark. She's my sister. Me and her fought like cats and dogs when we were younger, but then again, what siblings don't fight? Now we're closer than ever. We go to concerts together, get tattoos together, go on mini vacations together. We're not just siblings; we seem like best friends.

BW
-Brenda Whetstein, my mom. Originally her name was Brenda Schwarberg, but then she married my biological father, Steve Clark and was known as Brenda Clark. My parents divorced and she married a friend of hers named Greg Whetstein and now she is known as Brenda Whetstein. She can be tough to the point of brutal honesty, but sometimes you'd rather have someone be brutally honest than sugar coat the truth.

GW
-My stepdad. At first, I hated that my parents divorced. I thought my stepdad was a stranger. But when I finally seen how happy my mom was around him and how he didn't treat us like dirt like our biological father did, I quickly got over it. I can safely say that me and my sister love our stepdad like he was our dad all along. He's like a giant kid. He gets along great with my sister because they both think alike-disturbed minds think alike, I suppose. My mom always calls them Beavis & Butthead in reference to the MTV cartoon because they get along so well.

Halloween II (1981)

This is a sequel to the John Carpenter-directed film
Summary
-After Laurie Strode is rushed to the hospital with a knife wound sustained from Michael Myers, Sheriff Brackett and Dr. Sam Loomis search for the killer

Cast
-Jamie Lee Curtis: Laurie Strode
-Donald Pleasance: Dr. Sam Loomis
-Charles Cyphers: Sheriff Leigh Brackett
-Jeffrey Kramer: Graham
-Leo Rossi: Bud
-Pamela Susan Shoop: Karen
-Ford Rainey: Dr. Mixter
-Gloria Gifford: Mrs. Alves

Did You Know?
-This film would make the song "Mr. Sandman" by The Chordettes once again popular
-This is the only Halloween movie to show the morning after, the 31st. Every other movie ended on Halloween night
-In the entire series, Dick Warlock, who played Michael in this movie, is the shortest actor to play that character. He had to wear lifts to appear taller
-According to Leo Rossi, who played EMT Bud, the water in the hot tub was freezing cold
-The movie was filmed at Morningside Hospital. The hospital was slated to be destroyed. After filming, it was replaced by Harvard Yard Senior Apartments
-Some say that the hospital is too dead, even for a somewhat busy night shift. Rick Rosenthal, the director, said he based this on an experience he had with his wife where they were once in the hospital late one night and it was almost completely deserted apart from a few doctors and nurses
-During the scene where the mother and son leave the hospital following the boy biting a razor blade in an apple, this is a reference to a true story. This was based on popular fact of children getting fruit for Halloween, not knowing razor blades were hidden inside. Also, kids who did get razor blades hidden in fruit, in addition to pins/needles hidden in fruit, were often targeted specifically, not just randomly.
-The word painted in blood on the chalkboard is Samhain. This is a reference to an ancient Irish holiday on October 31, the Festival of Samhain. But Dr. Loomis refers to it being some sort of god of worship, the "Lord of the Dead". Samhain is a Gaelic festival that marks the end of the harvest season in Ireland and marks the beginning of winter, the darker half of the year.
-John Carpenter made numerous references to Bowling Green, Kentucky in the movie. Smiths Grove and Russellville are nearby towns. Bowling Green is in Warren County, where Haddonfield is set.
-Dick Warlock was 41, but supposed to be playing 21 year old Michael Myers
-Pamela Susan Shoop, who played Karen, got an ear infection from the hot tub water being dirty

Summary
-A suspicious murder-suicide in the emergency room of a hospital forces an on-call doctor to investigate it. It leads him to a predominantly Irish town in California where the owner of a toy company is trying to kill as many people as possible using Halloween masks and through a stone stolen from Stonehenge as part of an ancient Celtic ritual

Cast
-Tom Atkins: Dr. Daniel Challis

-Dan O'Herlihy: Conal Cochran
-Michael Currie: Rafferty
-Ralph Strait: Buddy Kupfer
-Jadeen Barbour: Betty Kupfer
-Brad Schacter: Little Buddy
-Nancy Kyes: Linda Challis
-Garn Stephens: Marge Guttman

Did You Know?
-The only reason that Michael Myers did not appear in this movie is because this movie underperformed at the box office. So John Carpenter brought Michael Myers back in the other Halloween movies
-"London Bridge is Falling Down" was chosen as the official theme of the Silver Shamrock company because it was in the public domain, which means there is no copyrights or anything saying it can't be used
-When Ellie and Daniel register at the motel, looking for any trace of Ellie's dad staying there, the rest of the names are the crew members
-For the location of the Silver Shamrock factory, a milk factory was used
-The voice going over the intercom warning Santa Mira residents of the approaching curfew is none other than Jamie Lee Curtis
-Tom Atkins, who plays Daniel Challis and Garn Stephens, who plays Marge Guttman, were actually married at the time of the movie
-The actors who plays Cochran's robotic henchmen were found through looking for movie extras. Writer/director Tommy Lee Wallace wanted to cast redheads as the henchmen to keep in tune with the predominantly Irish theme of the movie
-Nancy Kyes, who plays Challis' ex-wife here, was pregnant with her first child during filming
-The building used as The Dublin Inn was destroyed due to a fire in the 1980s
-Ellie's father, Harry Grimbridge, checked into room 13, the most unlucky number
-When Harry Grimbridge was admitted to the hospital, he was prescribed the same drug as Dr. Loomis mentioned to Nurse Chambers in the first film. It was Thorazine, a narcotic used by medical staff to suppress mental, mood and psychotic disorders
-Nancy Kyes, who plays Challis' ex-wife and mother of his two kids, also plays Annie Brackett in the first Halloween film

1.) Never Change-Puddle of Mudd
Someone's always telling me I'm no good
Well I don't care what you say
Someone's always giving me a hard time
Well I live day to day
Someone's always putting me in my place
Like I don't know where I am
So I'll just sit here in the corner without any direction

Maybe it's all it's all in my head
I think that it's something something you said
I understand some things will never change (Never Change)
Never change

Someone's always kicking me to the curb
Well it's grinding up my face
Someone's always pushing me to the side
Like I'm standing in the way
Someone's always getting up in my face
Like I don't know who I am
So once again I'm in the corner without any direction

Maybe it's all it's all in my head
I think that it's something something you said
Understand some things will never change (Never change, Never change)
Somebody's always out to get me
Somebody's always trying to kill me
Understand some things will never change (Never change, Never change)

Why did you have to go and change?
Couldn't you just have stayed the same?
Why did you have to go insane?
Understand some things don't change
Never change
No they don't No they don't Don't change

Maybe it's all it's all in my head
I think that it's something something you said
Understand some things will never change
Somebody's always out to get me
Somebody's always trying to kill me
Understand some things will never change

Why did you have to go and change?
Couldn't you just have stayed the same?
Why did you have to go insane?
Understand some things don't change
Why did you have to go and change?
Couldn't you just have stayed the same?
Why did you have to go insane?
Understand some things don't change

Some things will never change
Some things never change
Some things never change
Never change

2.) Blurry-Puddle of Mudd
Everything's so blurry and everyone's so fake
And everybody's empty and everything is so messed up
Pre-occupied without you I cannot live at all
My whole world surrounds you I stumble then I crawl

You could be my someone you could be my scene
You know that I'll protect you from all of the obscene
I wonder what you're doing imagine where you are
There's oceans in between us but that's not very far

Can you take it all away
Can you take it all away
Well you shoved it in my face
This pain you gave to me
Can you take it all away
Can you take it all away
Well you shoved it my face

Everyone is changing there's no one left that's real
To make up your own ending and let me know just how you feel
'Cause I am lost without you I cannot live at all
My whole world surrounds you I stumble then I crawl

You could be my someone you could be my scene
You know that I'll protect you from all of the obscene
I wonder what you're doing imagine where you are
There's oceans in between us but that's not very far

Can you take it all away
Can you take it all away
Well you shoved it in my face
This pain you gave to me
Can you take it all away
Can you take it all away
Well you shoved it my face
Explain again to me

Nobody told me what you thought
Nobody told me what to say
Everyone showed you where to turn
Told you when to runaway
Nobody told you where to hide
Nobody told you what to say
Everyone showed you where to turn
Showed you when to runaway

Can you take it all away
Can you take it all away
Well you shoved it in my face
Explain again to me
Can you take it all away
Can you take it all away
Well you shoved it my face
Explain again to me
Explain again to me
Explain again to me
3.) Loser- 3 Doors Down
Breathe in right away.
Nothing seems to fill this place.
I need this every time
So take your lies, get off my case.
Someday I will find
A love that flows through me like this
This will fall away, this will fall away.

You're getting closer
To pushing me off of life's little edge
'Cause I'm a loser
And sooner or later you know I'll be dead
You're getting closer
You're holding the rope and I'm taking the fall
'Cause I'm a loser, I'm a loser, yeah

This is getting old.
I can't break these chains that I hold
My body's growing cold
There's nothing left of this mind or my soul.
Addiction needs a pacifier, the buzz of this poison is taking me higher.

You're getting closer
To pushing me off of life's little edge
'Cause I'm a loser
And sooner or later you know I'll be dead
You're getting closer
You're holding the rope and I'm taking the fall
'Cause I'm a loser, I'm a loser, yeah

You're getting closer
To pushing me off of life's little edge
'Cause I'm a loser
And sooner or later you know I'll be dead
You're getting closer
You're holding the rope and I'm taking the fall
'Cause I'm a loser, I'm a loser, yeah.

4.) Fine Again-Seether
It seems like every day's the same
And I'm left to discover on my own
It seems like everything is gray
And there's no color to behold
They say it's over and I'm fine again, yeah
Try to stay sober feels like I'm dying here

And I am aware now of how
Everything's gonna be fine one day
Too late, I'm in hell I am prepared now
Seems everyone's gonna be fine
One day too late, just as well

I feel the dream in me expire
And there's no one left to blame it on
I hear you label me a liar
'Cause I can't seem to get this through
You say it's over, I can sigh again, yeah
Why try to stay sober when I'm dying here

And I am aware now of how
Everything's gonna be fine one day
Too late, I'm in hell
I am prepared now
Seems everyone's gonna be fine
One day too late just as well

And I'm not scared now
I must assure you
You're never gonna get away
And I'm not scared now
And I'm not scared now no

I am aware now of how
Everything's gonna be fine one day
Too late, I'm in hell
I am prepared now
Seems everyone's gonna be fine
One day too late, just as well
I am prepared now
Seems everything's gonna be fine for me
For me, for myself
For me, for me, for myself
For me, for me, for myself

5.) Bring Me to Life-Evanescence
How can you see into my eyes like open doors?
Leading you down, into my core
Where I've become so numb, without a soul
My spirit's sleeping somewhere cold
Until you find it there, and lead it, back, home

Wake me up inside
Wake me up inside
Call my name and save me from the dark
Bid my blood to run
Before I come undone
Save me from the nothing I've become

Now that I know what I'm without
You can't just leave me
Breathe into me and make me real
Bring me to life

Wake me up inside
Wake me up inside
Call my name and save me from the dark
Bid my blood to run
Before I come undone
Save me from the nothing I've become

Bring me to life
Bring me to life

Frozen inside, without your touch
Without your love, darling
Only you are my life
Among the dead

I've been sleeping a thousand years it seems
Got to open my eyes to everything
Don't let me die here
Bring, me, to, life

Wake me up inside
Wake me up inside
Call my name and save me from the dark
Bid my blood to run
Before I come undone
Save me from the nothing I've become

Bring me to life
Bring me to life
Bring me to life

This show is one of my favorites. It's hilarious. You almost can't believe the Nazis are so stupid on this show, rofl!!! I love the part in the opening credits where the exit for the escape tunnel comes out underneath a German Shepherd's doghouse and the dogs are just looking at them with that adorable, friendly look on their face, rofl!!
Summary
-Inmates from various military forces at a German prisoner of war camp concoct spy and sabotage missions right under the noses of their Nazi minders

Cast
-Bob Crane: Col. Hogan
-Werner Klemperer: Col. Klink
-John Banner: Sgt. Schultz
-Richard Dawson: Newkirk
-Robert Clary: LeBeau
-Larry Hovis: Carter
-Ivan Dixon: Kinchloe
-Leon Askin: Gen. Burkhalter
-Sigrid Valdis: Hilda
-Howard Caine: Maj. Hochstetter
-Dave Morick: Corporal Sontag
-John Cedar: Cpl. Langenscheidt
-Leonid Kinskey: Vladamir Minsk

Did You Know?
-Werner Klemperer, Howard Caine, Leon Askin, John Banner, who played German High Command officers Klink, Hochstetter, Burkhalter and Schultz, were in real life Jewish. They all served in the US Armed Forces during WWII. Klemperer was born in Cologne, Germany. Banner and Askin were born in Vienna, Austria. The three of them had emigrated to the US, fleeing the Nazi regime. Werner Klemperer is half Jewish.

Werner Klemperer as Col. Klink
Howard Caine as Major Hochstetter
Leon Askin as General Burkhalter
John Banner as Sgt. Schultz.
I don't know why, but the look on his face is hilarious!

-Robert Clary, who played French military officer LeBeau, was a survivor of The Holocaust
-Larry Hovis, who played Sgt. Andrew Carter, refused to remove his wedding ring for the show. Because of this, he is almost always seen wearing gloves
-Despite the fact that the show was incredibly popular on air, the show was canceled because it was suggested that the show appealed to older or rural audiences like The Beverly Hillbillies or GreenAcres did.
-Richard Dawson, who plays RAF officer Newkirk, was told by then CBS president Mike Dann, to use a Cockney accent rather than his actual Liverpool accent. Dann thought that the Cockney accent would sound more familiar to those in America who watched the show. Then not too long after, The Beatles would become famous and successful in America, with their strong Liverpool accents, thus having Americans more accustomed to hearing it. Dawson then claimed to bring this to the attention of Dann and joked with him about the decision

-In the opening credits, the car seen leaving the camp is a Mercedes model G4 Parade Car. This car had six wheels, three axels and four wheel drive on the rear wheels. This and other Mercedes models were popular with the elite of the German High Command
-Despite the fact that Klink acts like a coward, he has various military decorations on his uniform, for his combat service in WWI and WWII
-The pilot episode of the show, shot in black and white, featured a Russian character played by actor Leonid Kinskey. He did not continue with the show because he did not feel comfortable being on a show with Nazi characters in a comedic setting
Leonid Kinskey
-As of April 1, 2018, the only cast members from the show that are still alive are Robert Clary (Corporal LeBeau) and Kenneth Washington (Sgt. Baker), who replaced Ivan Dixon
-Corporal LeBeau was nicknamed "Cockroach" because of his short height by Col. Klink and Sgt. Schultz
-John Banner, who plays Sgt. Schultz, died on his 65th birthday in his hometown of Vienna, Austria
-Whenever Hogan wanted to kiss up to Col. Klink, he would often call Col. Klink "The Iron Colonel" or "The Iron Eagle"
-Harold Gould, who played General Von Schlomm, was Jewish in real life. He served with the US Armed Forces during WWII
-Richard Dawson, who plays RAF officer Newkirk, was originally cast to play Hogan. But he felt that with his Liverpool accent it would be unbelievable for audiences in America

-While in the US Armed Forces, Leon Askin was a supply sergeant, Werner Klemperer was a technical sergeant and John Banner was a master sergeant. Howard Caine was in the US Navy and his rank is unknown

-When John Banner created the character Sgt. Schultz, he suggested that actors of Jewish descent play the German High Command officers. When asked why, he said "Well, who better to play Nazis than us Jews." He also joked that no matter what he did, he could never get past the rank of Sergeant
-The scar on General Burkhalter's face is from an old duel. But it's not a fake. He actually got the scar from being beaten brutally by the real Nazi SS simply for being Jewish. His birth name is Leo Aschkenasy
-It was the idea of Werner Klemperer to have Col. Klink carry a riding crop and wear a monocle.

This is one of those series of books that seems to take place during WWII. A lot of people, including myself, seem to be interested in that particular era of history. Maybe it's because there are so many intricate events during that time? Who knows! Even when it's historical fiction, it's still great to read about. This particular series, by British author Jane Thynne, centers around a half German, half English actress named Clara Vine who gets involved with the spy game, spying for British intelligence while working at a Nazi-run studio in Berlin, the very heart of Nazi Germany, called Ufa Studios
Summary

Her biggest hope is start working at the famed Ufa Studios, known for making stars out of people like Marlene Dietrich. But fate has other plans. By the purest of chances, Clara ends up befriending Magda Goebbels, Annaliese von Ribbentrop and Emmy Sonneman, whose husbands are members of the German High Command. Hitler now has plans to create a master race, a pure white Aryan race and as a result, Clara is approached by Leo Quinn, who asks her to take a chance and spy for Britain, since she is friends now with the wives of the German High Command

Out of the blue she goes from dancing in those clubs to attending one of Hitler's notorious Bride Schools, a series on institutions created to groom women into perfect Nazi wives. When she is found dead on the grounds of the school, the school is only too eager to hush it up. Clara is determined to investigate it while trying to keep one step ahead of the Gestapo, who is also investigating
